Dr. Jay Loeffler, M.D. is a world renowned authority on the use of proton therapy for benign, vascular and malignant brain tumours. He is currently the Herman and Joan Suit Professor of Radiation Oncology at Harvard Medical School and Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. He trained in radiation oncology at the Harvard Joint Center and has been a faculty member at Harvard Medical School for 27 years.

Dr. Jay Loeffler is a Member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies of Science. He has spent his career investigating focal radiation delivery systems for tumours of the central nervous system.
